I am a junior designer with a fine arts background. I have grown up with a love of art, always with a pencil of some colour in my hand.
My art has always reflected my interests and passions such as fantasy books, horror movies, and sci-fi games. Taking inspiration from icons like Alphonse Mucha, Neil Gaiman, and Guillermo Del Toro, this passion has been nurtured from my childhood and into my adulthood. It is something I continue to carry into all of my design work today.
From it, I have gained strong attention to fine details and a greater appreciation for hand-crafted work. I have done freelance work in book design and social media branding as well as volunteer experience with the Toronto Comics Art Festival and the York University Children Childhood and Youth program.
I am looking forward to jumpstarting my career in design. Specifically, anything related to promotional work for books, movies, shows, and video games. But I am always happy to step outside my comfort zone and try new things.
